Family legacy is a key concern for estates preservation
Preserving family traditions and values is a key focus for my clients.

You’re looking to set up a long term vision for your property, your family, and their families - a legacy. You’ve worked hard your entire life and you know you have to have something in place to ensure things are sorted but you don’t know what. A will or a trust? What’s probate? How do I make sure arguments and fights don’t break out? What’s equal? Are taxes going to be a thing? How much is this going to cost me?

There’s a million questions that come up. I’ve supported blended families, traditional families, and helped navigate through unique and fraught familial situations. Whether it’s a concern that your three children will fight over who gets the house, how you avoid tax consequences for those same kids, or provide something for your grandchildren without taxes taking a bite out of it, I’ve seen it and helped navigate around it. This is why I focus on fixed expectations and fulfilling results.

Most people will try to navigate a battery of online forms – legal document websites, ads thrown at them on Facebook, (Hopefully not, but you have to say it now) AI. The common error in all of this is simple; these forms rely on you knowing what you’re looking at or you answering questions that aren’t always as straight forward as they should be.

I don’t play the template game. What matters to you matters to me. Before we ever start putting ink to paper we’ll be on a consult to chart what you want to accomplish, what the best fit to do that is, start a look at your assets, and work through what makes sense. We deep dive together and when something comes up that’s a great fit for my network, we can invite more support from no-cost advisors to help amplify what we’re doing.

As a client of mine you’re not a billable item or a data point, you’re someone who has placed so much trust in me that I cannot settle for anything less than the utmost care.

Your estate plan is my focus. Once we clear our intake meeting and initial accountings, you can expect a tight turnaround where you’ll get to review all the documents for your plan before anything ever gets printed. We’ll walk through it together and, once you’re happy, we’ll move to print, and execution. I’ll ask you to bring witnesses so that someone you trust can be there if anything goes sideways.

If you’re looking to get started but are stuck on where to start, book a consult with me to find out what the best fit is and we’ll get this done together.
