It's uncomfortable getting back on your feet in light of a defeat but it's necessary
It's only unforgivable if you don't get back after it.

You’re picking yourself up off the mat. You took a shot and it blew up in your face – whether it was slow burn post-Covid, tragedy striking or just tough lessons in practice, you took a shot and now have a mess on your hands. Let’s start off with this first; you bet on yourself, never apologize for that.

When you feel like life has been playing a game of whack-a-mole with you there’s no comfort like someone who understands that you took your medicine, now it’s time to recover. I get it, it’s easy to get lost in the fray. The heavy lift now is identifying who can help you navigate your way out so you can start over.

I sit down and go over how you got to this point, what’s at your disposal, and how we move forward. There’s always a path forward. Whether it’s working with financial advisors to leverage what you’ve got remaining or closing one venture to open another and pivot. Life is interconnected and there’s no such thing as a simple solution for some problems. Fortunately, I’ve lived a long and winding path to get where I’m at now and I both understand and thrive in that environment.

My clients and I chart a path forward together built around full knowledge. I don’t pull any punches when it comes to letting you know what liabilities may follow you, what can be moved, and the downstream effects of the accident. But it’s not doom and gloom. We document what our lessons learned are, build plans to mitigate those, and celebrate the successes where they occurred. In doing so, we’re not overreacting to adversity but we are building your muscle memory to react to it.

Your lawyer needs to be your advisor and your counselor. If you can’t confide in your attorney and if your attorney is not challenging you to be as full and honest as you can be, you’re a billable item even when your ability to pay that bill is in jeopardy. I focus on fixing you up and then expanding the relationship once you’ve implemented lessons and regain the confidence you had.

Contact me to bring a lawyer, a counselor, and a partner on board who will make you a more efficient decision maker and more clear eyed business owner.
