More than an estate attorney, a legacy consultant.

Not just a business lawyer, a partner with a law license.

Rural roots. Real counsel.

The attorney

Meet Brandon Davis, Esq.

Solo Attorney · Estate Planning & Business Law

I grew up near the Canadian border in a town where lawyers were a luxury most families could not reach. That is not a story I tell for color. It is the reason I practice the way I do, and it is the reason my pricing looks the way it does.

I am a solo practitioner by design. I built this practice in Western Loudoun County for the families and small business owners who deserve thoughtful counsel without paying D.C. rates for it. You will not get an associate you have never met. You will get me, the attorney who answered the phone, sitting across the table from you, working the file from intake to signing.

On the business side, my fractional general counsel work is informed by years as in- house counsel integrated with C-Suite leadership. I prefer the seat at the table over the seat at the deposition, and I treat GC work as facilitation, not gatekeeping.

Practice areas

Two wings of practice.
One steady standard of work.

Serving families and business owners with practical, steady legal guidance for planning, growth, and long-term protection.

01 / Legacy Planning

Wills, Trusts & Estate Planning

A legacy plan is not paperwork. It is the conversation your family does not have to have at the worst possible moment. I build plans that hold up, in plain language, for the family that has to live with them.

  • Individual & joint trust plans
  • Last will and testament
  • Powers of attorney, advance directives
  • Estate administration

02 / Business & Corporate Law

Fractional General Counsel

Fractional GC work is not playing law school. It is sitting with leadership, translating risk into business terms, and only escalating to a specialist when the work genuinely calls for one. A partner with a law license, on the months you actually need one.

  • Contracts review, drafting & negotiation
  • Commercial & vendor agreements
  • Operating & shareholder agreements
  • Ongoing fractional general counsel retainers

Why work with me

Built for the people who would otherwise go without counsel.

This practice is positioned deliberately, around accessibility and affordability for the rural and semi-rural community I serve. Nothing about the work is generic. Everything about the price respects the fact that legal help should not be a luxury good.

I

Plain-spoken counsel

You will get answers in the same language your accountant or your contractor speaks.

II

One attorney, start to finish.

I am a solo practitioner by design. The lawyer who took your call drafts your documents, sits at your signing, and answers your follow-up questions a year later. No hand-offs.

III

Rural pricing, regional capability.

I work at Loudoun County rates with experience built in C-Suite rooms across the broader region. You are paying for the work, not for an office tower.

IV

A relationship, not a transaction.

Most of my clients come back. Estate plans change as families grow. Businesses evolve. The work I do is built to be revisited, not filed away and forgotten.

Common questions

Answers I find myself giving on
most first calls.

If your question is not here, it is welcome. Use the form below or call the office line directly.

My virtual office is at 15 North King Street in Leesburg. I work with families and businesses throughout Western Loudoun County, the broader Virginia area, and Washington, D.C., with Maryland coming online once my license clears.

Consultations are subject to a $200 creditable fee, paid prior to booking. That fee is fully credited toward your matter if you move forward with representation, so it functions as a deposit rather than an additional cost. It also keeps my calendar honest: the people who book are the people who are ready to do the work.

It is an in-house counsel relationship without a full-time hire. I sit with your leadership the way a GC does, translate legal risk into business terms, and only escalate to outside specialists when the work actually requires it. Most retainers are scoped monthly so you know exactly what you are paying for.

A will is a starting point. A trust is the right tool when you want to keep your family out of probate, plan for minor children, blended families, or protect assets across more than one generation. We figure out which one fits during the consultation, not before.

Yes. Most of my estate planning clients are in Loudoun, but I take Virginia work statewide and D.C. business matters regularly. Maryland will join the list once my license clears.

No. I run a virtual-first practice. We can meet by video, by phone, or in person at the King Street office, whichever works for your schedule and how you like to do business.

You get the attorney who took the call working on the file. You get rural, real-world pricing instead of D.C. pricing. And the relationship does not get handed down to an associate. For most families and most small businesses, that is the whole equation.
